Douglas works as the Computer Systems Administrator at the shortwave broadcast site (KTWR) in Merizo, Guam. His major responsibility is the maintenance of the digital audio and computer network systems. Shared responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of five 100KW shortwave transmitters and operating broadcast shifts While working in Guam Douglas oversees and performs regular maintenance to insure proper consistent operation of the five high-powered shortwave transmitters. Guam's tropical location creates difficult operating conditions. Guam is subject to typhoons, earthquakes, and a year-round warm moist climate, all challenges to operating a high-powered radio broadcast station. On March 28, 2000 the 20-year old analog system was converted to a computer-run audio system.  Doug oversaw this conversion process. Denise has had experience with the KTWR programming department including writing nutrition features for TWR's women's program - Women of Hope . She is now keeping busy with homeschooling Sarah and Joy and church ministry .  Click here to see how Gospel Radio has changed lives!
