Unit II. GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BIBLE

The Goal of this unit is to help the children to appreciate the importance of the Word of God in their lives and to begin to find their way around the Bible.

Skill Objectives:
*Children will memorize Matthew 4:4; Psalm 119:11; and Psalm 119:105
*Children will be able to locate several of the more common books in the Bible
*Children will be able to name the books of the New Testament in order
*Children will be able to name several books in the Old Testament
*Children will be able to locate simple verse references in the Bible
*Children will be able to name some of the types of books in the Bible i.e. Poetry, History, Gospels…
