Prayer Unit

Unit Goals :
*The children will have a better understanding of what prayer is all about
*The children will develop their own personal prayer life

Unit Objectives :
*The children will learn to pray short prayers in a group setting
*The children will memorize the Lord's Prayer
*The children will be able to name the different types of prayer: confession, thanksgiving, praise and supplication/requests (asking for things for self or others)
*The children will begin a prayer journal to enhance their personal prayer life

Note: if you ever have free time you can work on the skills check list  and/or give the kids more practice in praying a loud
